Secure Payroll File Submission for Tax Residency Assessment for NRAs

As a Nonresident Alien employed by the University, you are required to complete a Tax Residency Assessment with the Payroll Office. The purpose of this assessment is to review your tax status and determine how your wages are to be taxed, or if you are eligible for any treaty benefits.

Once your Tax Residency Assessment has been completed, you will be contacted by Payroll Personnel via email, concerning the results of your assessment as well as provide further instructions on how to access your tax documents to review and sign.

Please be sure to upload the following files and copies (if they are applicable to you):

  • Completed NRA-001 Form
  • Social Security Card
  • Current and Previous Passports used in the U.S. (including pages with stamps or Visas)
  • I-94 (including travel history)
  • All I-20 Forms
  • All DS-2019 Forms
  • All EAD Cards
  • All I-797s
  • ❖ Appointment Letter
  • ❖ I-9 Verification Letter or I-9 Card (Students Only)
